當阿難尊者遇上了摩登伽女.....
北傳佛教的記載是佛陀教誦楞嚴咒，
南傳的記載呢？誦Jalanandana Pirith。

在南傳佛教，據說一個下層階級的女子看見了阿難尊者，即刻向父親請求要阿難尊者當其夫婿。於是精於咒術的父親下咒降要阿難尊者來娶其女。但第一次沒成功，咒降動不了阿難尊者。第二次用更強力的咒降，阿難尊者被動搖了，漸漸走向這對父女的屋子。

這裏《吉祥經》(Mangala Sutta)的讀誦速度很慢。
